XICHANG, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian communication satellite Palapa D has entered its geosynchronous orbit on Sep. 9, despite an ignition failure on the rocket that carried the satellite more than a week ago, the satellite's manufacturer said Saturday.
